Why does Celia tell Matt about so many scary creatures?
- Maybe she wanted him to stay locked up, so he would be a secret. Also it might because of the peoples acceptance of clones, so if they found out, they both might be in trouble.
- Maybe to have fun telling stories. Counter: probably not because she is nice and that stuff might scare matt since at the time he was about 6 years old, why doesn't she tell normal stories?
- Because she believes in the creatures herself; Counter: she is smart and she would believe in them.
-Because she secretly hates him and is only paid to take care of him so she wants to make him scared.--Counter: she obviously cares because she is taking every measure to take care of Matt, she put all of the charms to keep monsters like the "Virgin of Guadalupe out in the house.
Why did Matt break the window and jump out?
- He probably was feeling lonely, Evidence: every morning when Celia is leaving he wants her to stay at home.
- He might have overcome the fear of the scary creatures in Celia's stories so he could play with other children. Counter: he was still telling the others of these scary creatures, so he probably was still afraid of them. And it mentioned how he always wanted Celia to come and get him and bring him back to his house.
- He hates Celia and the house. counter: He never wanted Celia everyday to leave for work as a maid, and also really cared in him mind about her.
Why do the people hate Matt and clones in general?
- Maybe it is because they don't have parents, and they are born out of cows instead of a person, so it may seem very gross and inhuman
- Because they fear/ hate the person who got cloned, and the person who was cloned would live after the real person has died, and they continue to clone him and make it so that he is never dead. Counter: Because there are many different types of clones and if they hated them all then why would they clone the people that they hated.
